These Crispy Apple Pie Pockets Are PERFECT For Fall! I’m Drooling!


With tailgating season currently in full swing, my friends and family have been planning to put together the most scrumptious savory and sweet treats.

Hands down, barbecue-inspired recipes are my absolute go-to dishes at large gatherings. There’s something about being able to hold and carry your food that makes me very happy.

But I love handheld desserts just as much! And what better ingredient to utilize than sweet, crisp apples that are now in season? I’ve tried making this delicious caramel apple crisp a couple of times at home, and it always turned out to be a crowdpleaser.

However, this incredible apple pie recipe is unlike anything I’ve seen — or tasted — before! This is definitely one recipe you’ll want to print out!


Green apples
Splashes of lemon juice
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
Egg roll wrappers
Egg wash
Caramel for dipping sauce

Peel and dice the apples.
Mix the apples with the lemon juice, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Portion the mixture onto egg roll wrappers, and fold.
Bake for 15 minutes at 400 °F.
