She Gives Her Adopted Son Back To Social Worker. Then She Tells Him The Search Is Over…

Taylor and his two sisters were all adopted in 2003. Unfortunately, they gave him back because they said that he was just too angry.

“It was always somewhat my fault, but I didn’t realize that, you know, when I was growing up,” Taylor said.

His social worker tried for 10 years to get him into a permanent home but he kept getting given back because of his attitude.

“Every child is adoptable,” Connie said. “There’s a family for every child.” Neglected by his drug-addicted biological parents, Taylor has always felt unlovable.

“I was just so mad because I thought that they weren’t going to keep me,” Taylor said. “I was just trying to test them.”

She never gave up though and kept looking for a safe place that he could accept as home.

“All I could think about was how he was feeling and how he was blaming himself, again,” Connie said.

Connie just could not handle the stress behind all of this and decide to adopt Taylor herself.

“He’d go, ‘I’m leaving. I hate this,’” Connie said. “And I’d be like, ‘I’m not sending you away, Taylor.’ And he would look over at me, take his backpack off and head back in.”

“This is where I belong,” Taylor said. “She knows my worst side, and she still cares about me and still loves me.”
