ooking for a fun way to serve your crowd this weekend? We have just the thing. People love bite sized things, but making individual items can be time consuming and let’s face it- extra time is not that accessible for most of us!
That’s why these powerful bites are perfect. Not only are they delicious, but they come together in a flash. Grab the following and we’ll see you in the kitchen.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 package of biscuits, split in half
- 4 pieces of string cheese, cut into thirds
- ½ cup pesto
- 1 cup marinara sauce, for dipping
What You’ll Do:
As you can see, you don’t need a whole lot in order to make this amazing appetizer. Just grab your biscuit halves, place one small piece of the string cheese into the center, and then roll it up so that the cheese is completely covered by the dough. Place this into a bowl filled with the pesto sauce, and repeat until the bowl is brimming with pesto-marinated dough balls.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place all of your pesto bombs out, giving them a bit of space to rise. Bake these for 25-30 or until the dough has crisped and they are puffed up and smelling great. Remove your tray and serve your Pesto Cheese Bombs hot with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
