A mom shared the brutally honest note she wrote to her daughter’s school after she was late to class for the millionth time. Read on for the full story!

Being a parent is the gift that keeps giving, but it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel once your kids enter their dreaded teenage year.

Teens are moody, angry, hard to please—and worst of all—tired literally all the time!

School just started last month, and if you’ve managed to get your teenager up on time every single day of the week, then you truly deserve a medal.

For most parents, making it to school before the first bell rings with a teenager is impossible 95 percent of the time.

So when one mom was late dropping her daughter off once again, she finally decided to be honest about the reason why.

In a now-viral Facebook post, Nicole Poppic shared the hilarious note she wrote to her daughter’s teacher to excuse her tardiness.

“Cara is tardy this morning as a result of a condition known as teenage-ism,” wrote Poppic. “She suffered from an inability to remove herself from her bed, and also felt the need to talk back to her birth-giver.”

The sarcastic note has already been shared 30,000 times by understanding moms all over the country.
